Summer school / Curso de verano

¡Hemos comenzado ya a planificar el curso de verano de 2024! Volvemos otra vez este año con un equipo muy entusiasta y preparado para que los niños/as lo pasen genial!
Como en años anteriores, el curso de verano se hará durante el mes de julio. La sede del curso es en nuestro edificio principal en Urbanización Los Pinos liderado por nuestro equipo de profesores dedicados, la mayoría nativos.
Los padres/madres tendrán la opción de que sus hijos/as hagan uso de la ruta ampliada del bus escolar para venir e ir al colegio, lo que hace que nuestro curso sea una alternativa conveniente. El curso comenzará a las 9.30 y terminará a las 14:00. Este año el curso está abierto para todos los niños entre 3 y 13 años.
Los alumnos/as trabajarán sobre un tema central en los distintos grupos divididos por edades. Las actividades no serán solo dentro del aula sino que los alumno/as tendrán la oportunidad de participar en proyectos de arte, deporte y juegos en otro entorno, todos ellos en inglés.
En el curso de julio los niños/as experimentaran una inmersión completa en la lengua inglesa divirtiéndose mientras interactúan con amigos/as y consolidan sus conocimientos previos. Aquellos/as con una competencia lingüística en inglés limitada tendrán la oportunidad de trabajar con profesores/as nativos/as en grupos reducidos, pudiendo así enriquecer su vocabulario e incrementar su confianza. Este año, de nuevo nos centraremos en la expresión oral en lengua inglesa, ayudándoles a adquirir más confianza y al final de curso recibirán un certificado de nivel.
Nos interesa enormemente conocer los comentarios de los padres, madres y alumnos/as sobre su experiencia en los cursos anteriores ya que nos sirven para conocer las expectativas del curso y que es lo que quieren. De esta manera solo queda mejorar lo que ya es un proyecto con éxito.
En el formulario pueden encontrar información sobre los precios y las fechas. Debido a que hay plazas limitadas y el año pasado tuvimos lista de espera, el colegio ofrece la oferta de un precio reducido si se hace la inscripción por adelantado. Para confirmar la plaza y aprovechar el descuento deben enviar la inscripción y hacer el ingreso al mismo tiempo .

Dear Parents
We are beginning to make plans for our Summer School 2024! This year we will be back again with an enthusiastic team ready for the children to have an amazing time!
As previously, the Summer School will take place during July. We will be carrying out activities in the main school building on Urb Los Pinos, with our dedicated team of teachers, the majority of whom are native speakers.
Parents will have the option of using the extended school bus route to bring the children to and from school if needed, which will make the summer school a convenient option. Children will start at 9.30 and finish at 14:00. This year the course is open to children between 3 and 13 years old.
Children will work on a central theme together but in different age groups. We will not only carry out classroom based activities but children will have plenty of opportunity to carry out art projects, sports and games during their time here, all led in English.
In July, children will be entirely immersed in the English language, having fun whilst interacting with friends and consolidating existing knowledge. Those with limited knowledge of English will have the opportunity to work with native teachers in small groups, extending vocabulary and developing confidence. This year, once again, the focus will be on spoken English, to help them gain more confidence, and children will receive a certificate stating their level at the end of the course.
We are always listening carefully to feedback from parents and students from previous years, so that we know what you want and expect. In this way we can only improve on what has already been a great success and add in more classes and activities.
Full prices and dates are shown on the form. Due to limited places and the fact that last year we had a waiting list the school is offering the possibility of a reduced price and early enrollment for those who attended previously. To confirm inscription we will require payment to have been made at the same time as the form is filled in. We have a maximum number of places for each week to ensure quality of learning for the students and safety.
